Welcome to Pūrakaunui School

I am delighted to welcome you to our wonderful school. It is a privilege for me to lead this community and be part of a school that is focused on our children in all that we do.

Our community is extremely supportive of the school, which is a focal point for the townships of Long Beach, Pūrākaunui and Osborne. We are proud of our tamariki and proud to work closely with our whānau and local community.

Our students enjoy being part of a large "school family" with all ages from 5 to 12 mixing for play and study. Our passionate and dedicated teachers help tamariki to grow and thrive in a supportive and caring environment. We provide many purposeful learning opportunities for our students in and outside of the classroom.
